Die vorliegende Hausarbeit ist wie folgt gegliedert: Nach der Darstellung einiger Thesen Bourdieus zur Bildungssoziologie, wird die Rezeption der oben in aller Kürze dargestellten Kapital- und Habitustheorien Bourdieus an verschiedenen Beispielen gezeigt, wobei im ersten Unterkapitel der Schwerpunkt auf dem Bildungssystem als Reproduktionsort sozialer Ungleichheit liegt, während im zweiten Unterkapitel die Rezeption im Rahmen der einflussreichen PISA-Studie belegt wird.
Im darauffolgenden Kapitel four wird anhand weiterer Beispiele beschrieben, wie sich unter dem Einfluss der Theorien Bourdieus Forschungsansätze und Methodologien in der Bildungsforschung herausgebildet haben.
Im abschließenden Resümee soll die Rezeption Bourdieus in der deutschen Bildungssoziologie kritisch gewürdigt und eine wertende Bilanz gezogen werden.
